Lots of September Stuff …
First thing is first – Google have released their new web browser, Chrome, and a new build of Windows Live Messenger 9.0 somehow ended up on my laptop. I’ve reviewed both of these, incase you didn’t realise how to find that, click the orange words above.
Anyway, moving on to Red Dwarf, the old Sci-Fi sitcom from the 90′s that everyone loved. Well, apparently it’s making something of a comeback – BBC Worldwide (aka Canada, for fucks sake..) have commissioned a one-hour special episode. Details are sketchy at the moment, it’s either going to be on BBC2, Dave, Direct to DVD or according to the ever reliable tabloids, a sketch-drawn slideshow on QVC. Either way, exciting times.
First have managed to top themselves yet again, with a new revolutionary on-board heating system for passengers – fire. Yes, I did just say fire, as in the flaming red burning stuff that kills people. Trials have been sadly unsucsessful, as the picture to the right aptly illustrates – the 100 (which, worryingly I do occasionaly use) set itself on fire outside B&Q in Trafford Park. Lovely, eh?
Still, September is here and you need all the heat you can get. All the students and kids are back in school clogging up the roads with SUV’s and boring you to death on the bus with innane and retarded conversations about what becky said to her, and what she said to me, not to mention the weather.
It’s a good thing I invested in a brolly, frankly, because even though I had one I had to be ringed out when I got home from work yesterday. And the day before. My phone’s weather gadget thing always predicts sunshine with half clouds – which is correct when I’m in the office – just when I leave it, it changes it’s mind.
